ONLINE FILM CRITICS SOCIETY NOMINATIONS

ARe-Hispanics-Online

Almost every movie society has some sort of awards or top 10 lists that they put together. Most of them don’t mean anything in terms of the Oscar race. 1. Anyone ever heard of Emotional’ by Diana DeGarmo? I think that it’s totally Della. Whether she wants to admit it or not, she does get emooitnal sometimes. She gets mad a lot, but when the whole Kylie thing happens at the end of Whispers at Moonrise, she is so upset. For Lucas, I was thinking Breakeven by the Script. Gosh, I’m probably writing this all for the wrong book, because this is all including what happened in Whispers at Moonrise.REASONS THIS IS PERFECT: Mainly, it’s the bridge. He’s saying you got his heart and my heart,’ like she has Derek’s heart and his own. You took the suitcase, I took the blame.’ Everyone at camp blames Lucas for Kylie leaving. For Derek, Face Down by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. He’s kind of talking to Kylie, then Lucas.REASONS WHY THIS IS PERFECT: You cry alone and then he swears he loves you’ Really? Just really? Do I have to explain it. This would be Derek-Kylie. Do you feel like a man when you push her around?/Do you feel better now as she falls to the ground?/Well I’ll tell you my friend, one day this world’s going to end/as your lies crumble down, a new life she has found.’ Again Must I explain this one? This would be Derek to Lucas. For Miranda, for a while it would be Perfect by Simple Plan, because she’s saying how her family doesn’t understand how hard it is for her to live up to their expectations. REASONS THAT THIS IS PERFECT: Everything. Just everything.Kylie’s theme songs (I’m bad at choosing) might be Tied Together With a Smile by Taylor Swift, Story of a Girl by Nine Days, She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5, and probably a lot more. If you haven’t heard these songs, look them up (A video with the lyrics preferred) Because they all fit the characters pretty well.
