2017 Oscar Documentary Short Contenders Announced

 

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences  announced the Documentary Short Subject contenders for the 2017 Academy Awards. Five nominees will be chosen to compete on Oscar night. It is now easier than ever to see the short subject nominees on VOD, streaming services or in theaters. Extremis is currently on Netflix. It is about the wrenching emotions that accompany end-of-life decisions as doctors, patients and families in a hospital ICU face harrowing choices. It is definitely worth checking out.
