Broadcast Film Critics Choice Nominations 


The Broadcast Film Critics announced their nominees today. Oscar front runner La La Land scored 12 nominations, including best picture, best actor for Ryan Gosling, best actress for Emma Stone and best director and original screenplay for Damien Chazelle. It was also nominated  for best score nom  and two songs  “Audition (The Fools Who Dream)” and “City of Stars.
Arrival and  Moonlight were next with ten nominations each. Manchester by the Sea earned eight, and Hacksaw Ridge received seven. Silence was shut out as it has been seen by enough critics to make the cut. 

The BFCA is 300 film critics in the U.S. and Canada, working in TV, radio and online.  They will announce their winners on December 11th and will air on A&E.
