42nd Toronto International Film Festival Announces Lineup
TIFF announced their line-up for this years film festival. Toronto, Telluride and Venice are important stops before breaking into Oscar contention. Some good films will be going to Toronto this year. Including the premiere of the Winston Churchill film Darkest Hour. A movie that could give Gary Oldman an Oscar nomination. Battle of the Sexes with Emma Stone and Steve Carrell also made the list. Along with Darron Aronofsky's Mother and George Clooney's Suburbicon,
A few hits from Sundance are also making it to Toronto. Including Call me by Your Name and Mudbound. Rumor had it that Netflix acquiring Mudbound ruined its Oscar chances, but it looks like they are pushing forward with an awards campaign.
