Directed by George Clooney, Suburbicon is an upcoming crime horror-thriller film written by Joel and Ethan Coen, Clooney and Grant Heslov. The film stars Matt Damon, Julianne Moore, Josh Brolin, and Oscar Isaac.

Paramount is positioning Suburbicon for an Oscar run. It has been selected to be screened in the main competition section at the Venice International Film Festival. It is also scheduled to be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The trailer released today gives us a better idea of the plot of Suburbicon. Thinly described on IMDB as a home invasion rattles a quiet family town.
